The Catlink Scooper Litter Box is versatile and does not require special or proprietary litters, unlike many other self-cleaning litter boxes on the market. It functions effectively with almost any clumping litter.

However, litters that are strictly absorbent, non-clumping, loosely clumping, or made from newspaper or wood pellets are not suitable, as they disrupt the sifting process.

To ensure compatibility with Catlink Scooper Litter Box, use clumping cat litter with small particles that can pass through the sift filter. Avoid using pure tofu or long strips of tofu cat litter.

All Catlink Scooper Litter Boxes are suitable for cats weighing between 1.5kgs to 10kgs.

Kittens can use the litter box from 3 months old, provided they weigh at least 1.5kgs.

For kittens under 3 months or weighing less than 1.5kgs, set the litter box to manual cleaning mode until they are above the 1.5kg criteria.

This will vary on your cat’s eating and bowel habits. Typically, with a single cat, you may receive a full waste bag reminder within 15 days, but it is recommended to clean it every 7-11 days. During hotter seasons, we suggest to shorten the cleaning time to ensure the litter box remains clean and your cat stays healthy.

We highly recommend that you regularly monitor the level of cat litter in the litter box and replenish it promptly when low.

By observing your cat's toileting and eating patterns, you can estimate when additional litter might be required. Typically, adding litter every two to three days is recommended to maintain a sufficient amount for their use.

The specific time interval for adding cat litter needs to be determined based on the actual situation of your cat.

While we do not set a limit on the number of cats per litter box, optimal cat experience it is recommended that no more than 5 cats should use one litter box.
